About EarthArt Village

Background

Dedicated to promoting sustainable community in all its aspects - environmental, social and spiritual - the first EarthArt Village conceptual plan was created in 1996. By 1998, the land was acquired and improvements begun, including  a wide private drive of 1.25 miles, 160 acres fenced to keep free ranging cattle out, initial construction of the first common buildings with solar electric and septic systems.

The cooperative association organizational form was chosen in 1998.

EAV is open to prospective resident membership. Due to our limited time and accommodations, we offer seasonal visits only for those considering community membersip.
